The bass was hand made in 1998
by Richard Dunn of Golini Guitars, It was made from a
poster of aliens playing far out instruments live on mars (my
guess).
It has a mahogany body with a rosewood fret-board
onto a rosewood neck, active pickups, and in the case
stands 6 feet tall which makes it hard to fit into most
cars, the skinny neck doesn't take long to get use to but
the 2 stings do. It's not that heavy and is very well balanced
and playability is amazingly great but on a small stage I gotta make sure I don't poke one
of my guitarists because it's BIG
The E and the A strings are all I need to
play bass guitar, I also have another standard
bass that I have pulled the d and g strings off the
guitar but it has little impact live, I still enjoy listening
to 4, 5 and 6 string bass players but prefer trying to get the most
out my 2 strings and love the keep it basic factor.
